Kitchen Fire Damage in Mill Basin

More than half of house fires originate in the kitchen. Unfortunately, unattended range-top cooking is still the norm in many households. We recommend that a type ABC fire extinguisher be close at hand, preferably under the kitchen sink, to prevent significant fire damage. The sooty stains on the wall cabinets over the exhaust hood deposited a sticky layer on the ceiling, and the heat damaged the structural elements. Our FSRT fire and smoke damage technicians performed a controlled demolition as depicted in the After Photo. We can salvage the cabinetry with careful cleaning using proprietary products and position air scrubbers to clean the air of the pungent, acrid odor from the protein fire. We can coordinate our efforts with the insurance carrier to maintain a budget and complete the build back on schedule.
