Sneaky Water Damage
First glance at the ceiling does not indicate the amount of water damage to building materials. The ceiling was saturated and posed a safety risk. Plus, it was not salvageable. As shown in the AFTER PHOTO, our SERVPRO techs performed a controlled demolition. The black drain line was repaired, and the ceiling joists were dried with air movers and a dehumidifier. After applying an antifungal agent to prevent mold growth, our team could close up the ceiling with new sheetrock, prime, and paint the area "Like it never even happened."
